dc.description.abstract | The decade of the seventies saw the beginning of Avant-garde experiments in videoart that paved the way for the establishment of Colombia as one of the epicenters of the experimentation around the subjects of art and technology.
The purpose of this talk is to bring the audience closer to a prolific artistic movement, which has manifested itself in various fields: from the video art and experimental analogue cinema of the 70s and 80s, through the first experiments of electronic arts, net art and Interactive multimedia in the 90's, to the establishment in the last two decades as a Key reference of the artistic creation supported in technologies.
We will explore the work of media artists, institutions and spaces that have fostered these relationships during the last 40 years.
